Think bold experimentation and arguably strange formations that can only be described as ‘abstract’. These pieces consisted of various shapes, colours and lines, in their basic forms, and were designed to reflect modern society. It is said that this new modernist era was a deliberate rejection of former artistic styles and was an outward response to social and political changes. And amazingly it’s now worked its way into the interior industry.
