When we found out that LSA were the sponsors of our award category at the Amara’s (see the post about our win here), we were thrilled to have such a brilliant brand supporting us. Having been around for a commendable 50 years, LSA are an internationally renowned brand boasting a vast display of products from kitchenware, to vases. Although such a wide range of products are available, none lack in style. All are made using traditional hand-blown glass techniques that date centuries back, using soda-lime glass (a lead free glass unlike crystal). So when they announced their new ‘Tatra’ collection offering Polish inspired designs, we just had to shout all about it…

So what’s the inspiration behind the Tatra collection? Well it’s inspired by the Polish tradition of woodworking and the smoked spindle shaped artisan cheeses exclusively made in Poland’s Tatra mountains. The assorted patterns are carved into angular designs creating graphic motifs that decorate the range of drink, serveware and home accessories.

Head designer Monika Lubkowska-Jonas says it’s one of her favourite ranges as it’s a bold take on some of the most traditional designs that rural Polish wood workers have used for centuries.
